Love One Another

Rollings Hills Moravian Church is a community of faith whose members know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; grow in faith, love and hope; and show the love of Christ to others in word and deed.

As a community of faith we show others the reality of Christian community according to our Moravian heritage.

Scripture teaches about living in community with others. The New Testament "one another" passages describe how Christians treat one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Use these texts for prayer and reflection about being a community of faith:

(John 15:12)

"With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
(Ephesians 4:2-3)

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you."
(Ephesians 4:32)

"But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin."
(1 John 1:7)

"Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
(Galatians 6:2)

"Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing."
(1 Thessalonions 5:11)

"Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ."
(Ephesians 5:21)

"Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed."
(James 5:16)

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God."
(Colossians 3:16)

(Romans 12:10)

"And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
(Hebrews 10:24-25)

"That there may be no dissension within the body, but members may have the same care for one another."
(1 Corinthians 12:25)
